Safe Shelter ACT

Supporters of Safe Shelter ACT

Safe Shelter ACT receives no government funding. It is only possible through the kindness and generosity of the hundreds of volunteers who have given up their time and comfort so that others may have a safer and warmer place to sleep.

Thank you to those who have given over the years to make Safe Shelter ACT possible.

Chris Stokman

One of Safe Shelter’s greatest supporters and a source of wise counsel since the genesis of the project was the late Chris Stokman, of the Early Morning Centre, who passed away in October 2016. Almost all the Safe Shelter volunteers over many years benefitted from Chris’s passion and good sense during their training. Chris will be sorely missed.
